Here is an incomplete list of sources which nannymud coders have drawn inspiration from over the nannymud history:

Elric of Melniboné by Michael Moorcock.

Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien.

Dungeons and dragons: Greyhawk.

The forgotten realms.

Dragonlance.

Ravenloft.

Warhammer by Games Worshop.

Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan.

Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K Leguin.

The Farseer by Robin Hobb/Megan Lindholm.

Riftwar by Edmund. E. Feist.

The Belgariad by David and Leigh Eddings.

The princess bride.

The smurfs.

Discworld by Terry Pratchett.

Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind.

Davey Crocket.

Monty Python and the holy grail.

The works of HP Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos.

NannyMUD is famed for it's originality, both in the areas, monsters and it's guilds.

wow what a list Tredon!

Were you inspired by Moorcock? the name was a bit familiar and I checked I have and read "Crónicas del campeón eterno" where a hero lives eternally...and is so tired poor man.

From the rest of the list, I think I have only read The Princess Bride (la princesa prometida) y several of Pratchett (in english).

The Eternal Champion books are not as good as the ture Elric books ... I'd suggest you go with those first and foremost Smile

Furthermore, I admit that most of what I have done as Tredon and all characters online have been a mistake.
I apologize for any insults and misdoings I have caused others.

I wish to apologize for any harm I have caused both deliberately and indeliberately.
Mate, relax, seriously... You're making us a bit worried. Get out and play some soccer or something, or pick some apples and eat them. Don't sit in the dark too much, ok Wink
