I should point out that I am not now, have never been, and am unlikely to ever be/have a Wiz.  Just not in my nature (which essentially means I would have better luck translating scrolls from long -forgotten languages than learning how to code).

With that said, as a player I have often felt that there seems to be a discrepancy in the distribution of unique items - meaning there seem to be more weapons than anything else, by far, and there are scarce few things that some guilds (such as monks) can benefit from.

This having been said, it occured to me that there are a few types of items that might do very well - I know they would have me hunting for them.  Just a few ideas.

Non-combat oriented items that are just in inventory but still possess magic properties, I mean monks could use a fair shake somewhere.  Even if it was just an item that diminished how full they get with eating, or with drinking.

I would also implore any Wizzes out there who might be thinking of spicing up their areas a little bit to think of items other than weapons and shields.  Although there was a time when I had to check three or four places to find a unique weapon that I liked, that hasn't happened in ages.  Now I find myself on the prowl for good boots, gloves and rings.

We shouldn't stop at combat oriented items, however.  Containers are another brilliant item that is often overlooked.  Thanks to the wizards out there who have given us some interesting containers, but perhaps there could be a little more along these lines.  Perhaps backpacks in larger sizes, perhaps bags that give off light - or absorb it.  There could be a whole spectrum of untapped items here.  Imagine even a helmet that could store a few items as well.  Perhaps a bag that could hold an ungodly amount of loot, but would have to be fed a certain amount of coins to get the items back out.

These are just a few quick ideas, I am sure I will be back with more later

I was not trying to suggest that none of these types of things were out there, and I do know which area you refer to, but that there are scarce few of them.
It's nice that there are so many great weapons out there, but some other items could be useful and popular.

I'll personally see if I can get some of the ones you refer to in circulation.

Very Happy
So, there we are, exploring some of the deeper portions of Mirage's area.  I'm not sure if it was the humidity or our anxiety that made us sweat so much.  I'll spare you the details of 'who' we found down there and what they did to us.  Instead, let's jump straight to the good stuff!

Mirage's area, an area that, despite it's relative newness, has become mentioned among the great areas, contains some great treasures.  I'll have to speak with Mirage before I would begin to talk about specifics here, but I think I can mention that at least one unique (HIGHLY useful) item is non-combat oriented and non-wearable.

My hat is off to Mirage, several of the items we found were beyond anything I had imagined, incredibly useful and absolutely stunning.

I agree with Yavathol.
Non combat items, of both the magical, sanctified and mundane versions would be a thing to spice things up in nannyville.

Some suggestions:

Things like mundane jewelry, ordinary clothes and items.

Such old things as a potion belt, case or container might be a good idea.

Vests, pants and robes with pockets to keep things in.

Magical containers such as a teleporting or levitating chest would be possible.

Magical clothes which could change colour to fit your current style.

Trophy rack for both items and kills.
Obviously a unique could not be put on the rack.

Magical instruments which play songs on command.

Potted plants.

Waterskin to carry water.

Weapons which could be made to shrink and grow upon command, thus weighing less whens shrunk.

Not everyone would want these things, but they are only suggestions,
and you are free to use them as you like.
