On the subject of exp, I must once again ask why 13 costs less than 12 in stats
Is this really the case? That's unbelievable, even though I'm a statistics freak, I've never noticed that one!!11!1!1

Yes, it is definately true... I think most people don't notice it if they advance all their stats equally every time...  Wink
I think it is true of most LPMUDs... although don't quote me on that one!  Confused

Nanny has a rather unique system Russ
Most LPs have a completely different stats system
And those that are similar are only similar
I am yet to find one truely like nanny's
And unfortunately I have to admit that LPmuds are run by people who wont let me become a coder, only mercs and dikus tend to even consider it Sad which is why I'm not on nanny at the moment, I got a new keyboard and I've got a place to code, try and stop me wearing my fingers out!

I myselhad notied there the same
i has changed snce I started paying, so it was only recently, they new system is muh better
my advance of orisis t olevel 11 with statsmaxed forthat level in 6 hrs happened in th enew system, it was imossible iwt hthe old

I have to call out a mighty bullshit on that. In the old days, through quests and puzzles, I used to get to level 10 or 11 or higher with maxed stats for level in only a few hours or less.

Now, his statement holds with nannypoints involved...or does it Wink I like the current system and that it makes questing a nice advantage.

When I started playing again a few months ago (though I havent been recently because of a few things RL), I would not advance my chars level, til the nannypoints I had would balance it out (ie, all xp is spendable [aside from 1 thanks to Kherec Wink]). That is feasible and easy, up until about level 12 or so. At that point, it doesn't give as much of an advantage, but by that time, yer mighty enough to start handling tougher monsters which give more xp.

Thats a bit harsh. I for one, appreciate his/her comments.

To respond to Snafu's note, things have become a bit tougher (for me at
least). Quests now seem to give little/no XP any more. All of Vincents
quest puzzles for example.

I guess some guilds are easier than others. The cult requires a ton of XP/
grade.
