Sorry this is late folks, I have actually had some semblance of a real life the past few days.
If you could read the thoughts of one other person who would that person be?

Oh wow.. that is tough question.. There is so many. But if I have to choose one, I guess it will be the thoughts of Jeanne d'Arc. I do know one shall not believe everything they trying to do in the movies, with historical persons and simular. But after watching the movie and reading some of her history, I got intrigued by her. Just to know what she was thinking and what images that went through her head.. Interesting...

Hmm, it would be nice to be able to read my opponent's thoughts during a poker game

The obvious answer is my 3.5 year-old boy, geez, I'd love to understand HIS thoughts better...
Most interesting would perhaps be someone 'evil', like a terrorist, not someone that is (too) mental ill, but yet do things that normal people would never do (or even think about). How on earth can someone rectify killing totally innocent people, even children, that is beyond me...
Another idea would be someone capable of creating really beautiful music, just imagine listening in on Gluck's, or Mozart's minds! Ah, the thought...

Jesus Christ.
Wondering if he had illusions of some kind or what...
Or, better, I'd just try to think of someone whos thoughts would get me a lot of money.

Some notorious serial killer, like Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer.
It would be interesting to know what went through their heads, what drove them to do the things they did.
So called "terrorists" may "justify" their actions with politics or religion,
but these guys?

I'd like to know what George W Bush is thinking. See who the real puppet master is. See what the impetus for the war really was about. Although I think I'd get a lot of thoughts about missing nachos...
Also I'd like to get a gander at Bill Gates thoughts. See if he sweats the Open Source Community, see what he has up his sleeves for world domination.
I'm not sure I'd like to see what a serial killer was thinking, I think that'd be some really creepy stuff.

Oh, kind of hard but neat question
Well, it has been said before, but Jesus of course would be a nice choice, also Sokrates or some great philosopher like him. I would also have to agree with Allyene about the serialkillers (especially Dahmer and maybe Ramirez as well).
But maybe the the most triggering thought when it comes to "look into" someones brain would be Stephen Hawkin, I can´t even imagine what an interesting mind he must have, and certainly a large amount of brilliant intelligence. Yes, it would defenitely be worth the chance to dive into this mans mind.

My son would be a good choice although he's always telling me what he wants/thinks but to see what he dreams about would be very interesting. Also, there is this person that I just can't understand. He comes from the right on subjects and I come from the left and our opinions and ideas, likes and dislikes are so different I'd like to understand him. He's also very closed and hard to get to know so figuring out what makes him tick interests me.
Perhaps some person like Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein. Someone who can kill or have others do it and not care. (Sure, we could add GWB to the mix too but I'm more curious about a person that is so filled with hatred towards others, especially me and my countrymen, that they are willing to kill lots of innocent people.)
Or maybe a talented musician or artist to see the concept in their head first before it's actually brought to life. That would be awesome.

Perhaps not you but what you, or your country represents. What it shows, and what is behind.
