Hm. I'll probably go all literary here, but here's a random selection:

Collected Fictions (Jorge Luis Borges)
Life A User's Manual (Georges Perec)
The Idiot (Fyodor Dostoevsky)
The Black Jacobins (C. L. R. James)
Moby Dick (Herman Melville)

I'd definitely want high-quality music and theatre--particularly the sort of contemporary work that doesn't get much attention. Then I'd want proper current affairs programming, not the sensationalist rubbish that passes for it these days. And then some good sports programming for when I feel like being a vacuous couch potato.

(Of course, apart from the sports programming, this would be Ratings Death in extreme.)

Alzheimer's disease.

Knowing that your brain is slowly decaying and you'll soon be incapable of thinking properly or looking after yourself...ugh.

When mudding, I'm most likely to be listening to whatever I've downloaded recently and need to make sure actually plays properly. Smile

I like classical music, and I used to be a politics junkie when I lived in Scotland.

Fear me!

Learning about what it's like to wake up in the morning as a guy would be very interesting indeed.

Usually if I have to make a new name I will follow this procedure:

1. Connect to the mud.
2. Stare blankly at the prompt.
3. Fail to come up with any ideas.
4. Time out.
5. Think for a while and come up with a name.
6. Connect to the mud again.
7. Type in new name; find out it's already taken.
8. Give up; log in my wizard and start spamming.
