4  NannyMUD / Wishes and Thoughts... / Wizing on: May 06, 2004, 04:31:47 PM
It isn't often that a player wizez, right?
I think there should be a ceremony or something...
As a suggestion for how i would like a druid to wiz: I saw this movie that was nominated at the Oscars for best short movie or smth (it's called "The Cathedral) in which a druid comes into an unfinished cathedral made of pyllars from roots spiraling from the ground, each pylar containing a face. At the end the druid touches the ground with his staff and roots grow out into the ground and he starts to grow, like a tree, until he forms a pyllar.
Maybe each guild could have a different way in which a player achieves immortal status.

After I saw Spawn I really liked the name of the angel that helped Spawn and I found it to match the hole fantasy thing so I took it.

My knight char's name, Draven, comes from one of my favourite movies, The Crow.

My vamp char's name, Madmax, is obvious.

Btw... Spawn isn't one of my fav. movies Smile

In the 'old' days (before my big 2 year or something pause from MUD) my friend Sharky used to listen to Metallica - One a lot and I didn't really like Metallica back then but when i took up MUD again this song was like sooooo nice... it reminded me of the days a lot of my friends played.

My Dying Bride works _really_ well with MUD (especially the whore, the cook and the mother).

Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy
Six Feet Under - Sweet Leaf
Duran Duran - Come Undone
Tears for Fears - Shout

Depeche Mode
Prodigy
Black Sabbath
a bit of Led Zeppelin

a bit of Portishead
a lot of Radiohead
Daft Punk
REM
Chemical Brothers
Apollo 440
Antiloop
Cardigans
Cranberries
a bit of HIM
Sepultura
some Apocalyptica
some Coldplay
a little Lenny Kravitz
Guano Apes
Queen
Moby
Iron Maiden
Tasmin Archer
