1  NannyMUD / Nostalgia / Re: Old (closed) clubs on: March 29, 2010, 08:43:53 AM
I'm happy abandoned things are back again, but I'm sad cause I surely don't meet the requirements for this club.

So, what about those that find out here about the reopening of the Legion club?
Are they allowed to spread the word in Nanny or through Facebook or through whatever means? I reckon not.
In this case is this forum a somewhat secretive place/club?   Wink

You know? I can keep a secret...

P.S.
btw, Have you joined the Facebook NannyMUD group?
I'm asking because currently spamfu has 201 members and on Facebook Nanny has 200 members.
I thought you were the missing one.  Very Happy (on Facebook there's no Vulcan in the 'Who are who?!' section)

Thanks Vulcan for the Chaos Simyarin redesign.
Did this include the fixing of the so-called broken chain spells? I don't know what that is exactly but heard rumors about it.
I'm interested in this since Frodo, one of my alts, is a Chaos simie.

Waiting for the Kittens Guild ....  Very Happy

Back with 2 processors.  Shocked

Maybe the extra one is meant to defend Nanny from hackers  Laughing

On Jan 24, 2010 it's still down.

Oh, the other issue is with the very nature of the game:  no map, memory to get around, take a year off and you are lost again.   Unless you keep good notes, or have an insane memory.  I do not.  Exploring isn't my primary play style, I want to kill big things, it makes me happy.

That's why I use CMud. I love its mapping feature  Laughing.

Here, take a look:

For me reason #1 is the culprit.

The free time you get is smaller and you have to manage this little time between your hobbies.

But the bright side is you'll get plenty time for Nanny at retirement  Laughing

Kittens.. revived ??? Cool !!!!!

I've never played Kittens, but I've heard it was a great/tough guild to play. I will definitely give it a try.

I remember when I started playing Nanny, Kittens were there, and sometimes you got a HP & SP boost by "According to Kitten theory you are healthier".

Also refreshing the Symiarin guild would be welcomed. (Contacting Gabe turned no result? What about contacting Mami? Maybe helps.)

And thanks to Astrodeath for getting back the Hunters guild.

Congrats for your work of reviving old gone things!!!!!

Around 1995-1996, there was this place.
I think from green, a few south then west.
You would go down (maybe there were some pyramids) and there were some mummies that had some jewels as loot.

Anyone remembers anything? What area?
Thinking about the theme of the area (pyramids and mummies) I was thinking maybe it was moved to Antharis.
9  NannyMUD / Healing / Things to help lower tox... on: January 13, 2006, 02:36:19 PM
There were many such ways/places to help reduce tox in the nanny forum of Datachild's site but now it is down.

Anyone has a copy of those places?

After exploring Banshee's area a few days ago (although I started playing mud in '99 Shocked ) I found a way to get rid of the eaten food:

Idea  pills sold by Helly.
