2  NannyMUD / Misc / Longest playing session? on: August 07, 2005, 04:41:55 PM
Well, very few people would have the time except when they are on a holiday (not that this is the best way to spend a holiday). Such long playing sessions usually occur when the addiction is at its peak. But such periods usually last for a short time and do not recur (at least for most people). And of course, it is a good thing that they do not recur. But there is no reason why that should stop us from bragging about our past dementia and perhaps even reminiscing about the "good old days". 3  NannyMUD / Misc / Longest playing session? on: July 02, 2005, 09:49:22 AM
Okay, let's start confessing Wink- what is the longest duration for which you have been logged on in Nanny?

Of course, there are people who switch chars a million times and are really playing for hours and hours even if any one char is logged on for a short amount of time.  And then there are clients.... (gasp!)

So let's make this precise - what is the longest duration you have been logged on with one char without quitting without having a client keep you logged in?

If I remember right, my longest was 20 hours when  Aeneas was a young knight. I suppose I wasn't really constantly running around. I didn't really realize I had been logged on that long until Fortune logged on and sent me a tell saying "20 hours!". For a few minutes I had no idea what he was talking about. When I realized, I asked myself what I was doing...and quit Wink

4  NannyMUD / Daily Rant / Nanny down? on: June 29, 2005, 04:24:52 PM
Hmm, Nanny seems to be down or something? For quite a while today too. What did you do, Snafu?

I believe the dreamsword from Casada gives you nightvision while you wield. But I suppose that is not what you are looking for as a simyarin.
6  NannyMUD / Daily Rant / Don't you hate it when... on: February 14, 2005, 11:43:53 PM
I am sulking because there aren't enough quotes by me. I am funny dammit.  Sad
7  NannyMUD / Misc / Jennifer on: January 07, 2005, 09:04:59 PM
Okay, is this just me or has Jennifer actually changed?

Earlier she used to be asking this (in my opinion, extremely retarded) question: Hi XYZ, are you there?

Now she asks: Hi XYZ, what are you doing here?

Looks like she is growing up! Or maybe I am just confused.  Razz
