Well, very few people would have the time except when they are on a holiday (not that this is the best way to spend a holiday). Such long playing sessions usually occur when the addiction is at its peak. But such periods usually last for a short time and do not recur (at least for most people). And of course, it is a good thing that they do not recur. But there is no reason why that should stop us from bragging about our past dementia and perhaps even reminiscing about the "good old days".

Of course, there are people who switch chars a million times and are really playing for hours and hours even if any one char is logged on for a short amount of time.  And then there are clients.... (gasp!)

So let's make this precise - what is the longest duration you have been logged on with one char without quitting without having a client keep you logged in?

If I remember right, my longest was 20 hours when  Aeneas was a young knight. I suppose I wasn't really constantly running around. I didn't really realize I had been logged on that long until Fortune logged on and sent me a tell saying "20 hours!". For a few minutes I had no idea what he was talking about. When I realized, I asked myself what I was doing...and quit
