Don't know if Snafu really wants this, but I would love to see some logs from people. Of course, I want those OLD logs (you know, logs that Wing is in), but more logs would be fun, methinks.

Send all the logs you can think of. If you have them as a .txt file, you can use the upload link on the main page. I will post any logs received into the Log section...or...if small enough to be considered a quote, will go into the quote section of the site.

I've been kind of busy lately, due to RL things. Perhaps later, more people will know what's going on *grin mysteriously*

Snaf, don't you have any old top XP logs? IIRC that's the one I used to check, QP is for sissies... (As always, pre '95 is preferred.)

I don't recall any top XP logs, but I DO recall Bally's chars having quite a bit of xp at the time..over 10M at one time I believe.

I actually think I, inofficially, had the first char over 10MXP (around christmas, no school, no others in Nanny), of course, that's nothing compared to a khorne holding off paragoning (my top khorne had 30MXP before joining paragons, and I suspect there are several chars that have had much more).

About the log, I remember Nazigoreng being up in the top of the XP list, not the wizard that spells with 's' though. But I can't remember who topped the list, before 'my' XP-machine. Darn... That's why I would like to see such a list! Anyone else remembering? Maggs?

*grin* I thought, when they had the top list be tied to qp..that it would lose its meaning. Especially when you had a few high questers get all their chars on the list and higher. I was thinking it should have been singular... In other words, a person's top char being on list and none of their others ;) That would have been quite difficult to do however. Of course, back in the older times...xp was much easier to get ;) Most of the older players will know exactly what I mean.

Heh, true, even if you didn't cheat or 'bend the rules', it was much easier. But, for me anyway, it was more laid back in those days... Just imagine playing more determined, with set up routes, using a client, more like today, you would have completely crushed all 'records'... Don't know about others did, but I think most played without clients, or possibly with Padrone's :) No speedwalks other than punching the keys fast.

Actually, Qqqq's recorder was much more powerful back then. Nowadays it has delays. Back then it was almost immediate. Telnet rulez! I use PuTTY now, which is basically same thing as telnet.

Absolutely, but I didn't use it the effective way it COULD be used... Perhaps when PKing, but never in XP-hunting. I enjoyed walking (not running) around with LONG room descriptions and using telnet. Geez, must've been crazy (not as THAT has changed much).

The recorder was especially handy when by having each comand inputted using a do x,y command, thus getting twice the output possible out of that thing ;)

You could even run to Weronoops area with the recorder then, without 'qpause'ing *grins*.

Well, evidently Snafu hasn't been getting any logs or has been too lazy to post them. I imagine it is the former (though Snafu is probably lazy anyway).

What's wrong with you people? Aren't you doing anything interesting on Nanny?
